Warren Capital is a money manager.  We do not sell products, conduct banking or underwrite loans.  Our time and effort is spent on research and analysis and our job is to establish and manage the investments positions that result from this analysis.  Furthermore, our compensation is directly correlated to how well our client accounts do.  The better our investments perform the better our clients do and, in turn, the better Warren Capital does.  It’s pretty simple.

Warren Capital is privately held, which means we do not succumb to the pressure of quarterly earnings reports or sales quotas.  Given that such pressures are alleviated, we have the ability to enjoy the benefit of time and take advantage of the economic circumstances with our investment positions. When we find investments we believe in, we invest our money right alongside our clients.  In short, it has to be good enough for our money before it is good enough for our clients.

Building & Preserving Net Worth
Warren Capital GroupIndividuals can calculate net worth by subtracting total liabilities from total assets.  During our initial analysis we work with clients to complete a personal balance sheet  to determine net worth.  We then recalculate that balance sheet annually.  By utilizing our balance sheet, assets outside of investment accounts (i.e. real estate, business interest, etc.) can be considered before constructing an asset allocation.

Asset Allocation
Proper diversification is essential when managing investment assets.  We allocate to five different asset classes when constructing portfolios: stocks, bonds, real estate, alternatives and cash.  These asset classes have varying degrees of correlation.  By constructing a diversified investment portfolio in these classes one attempts to increase performance while decreasing volatility.

(Please note:  Diversification does not assure a profit or guarantee against a loss.  A diversified portfolio is not guaranteed to outperform a non-diversified portfolio or the market in general.)

Risk Management
Warren Capital GroupWe believe that limiting downside is as important as achieving upside.  Portfolios often get overly concentrated into one asset because of performance.  We consistently monitor portfolios and rebalance when assets become overweight.

(Please note:  A rebalancing strategy may have tax implications in a non-tax advantaged account.)
